15 Sep Regal Research Adds DMG Mori 5 Axis Mill and Trumpf 1000 Fiber Laser/Punch
PLANO, TX , September 15, 2021 – As in prior years, Regal Research continues its equipment expansion with the addition of a high-precision DMG Mori DMU 50 five axis mill along with a Trumpf Trumatic 1000 fiber laser / punch combination sheet metal cutting machine. “These investments continue to illustrate Regal Research’s commitment to meeting our customer’s expanding quality and delivery requirements. With the DMG Mori five axis mill, we are increasing our production machining throughput and complexity capabilities, whereas the Trumpf 1000 laser/punch combo will expand our prototype and short run sheet metal cutting capacity. These equipment additions will also provide a smooth transition from concept through prototype and final production quantities for all machined and sheet metal parts that we produce.” said Greg Jernigan, Board of Directors member at Regal Research and Manufacturing.
