Regal Research Expands Quality Measurement Capabilities

PLANO, TX, December 15, 2019 – Regal Research is pleased to announce the addition of our second Zeiss CMM (Zeiss Prismo Coordinate Measuring Machine). With a measurement uncertainty as low as 0.9+L/350 μm, ZEISS PRISMO is the flagship of ZEISS coordinate measuring machines and the gold standard in precision verification excellence. This modular bridge-type measuring machine ZEISS PRISMO offers endless opportunities for high-speed scanning and maximum accuracy. Having this capitol precise equipment, expands our capabilities and capacity to measure extremely strict design parameters also known as tight tolerance CNC machined parts. The tighter the tolerance is on each individual component, the higher the quality and dependability will be on the finished product. Conforming to tighter tolerances requires precision manufacturing and a thorough inspection process. The installation location is located at our 1200 E Plano Parkway facility. “Over the past four decades, Regal Research has earned the reputation of producing the highest quality parts, sub-assemblies, and complete products. The addition of this Prismo CMM will further expand our throughput and capabilities as we continue to grow within the semiconductor equipment, aircraft interior, and medical equipment markets.” said Robert Pena, Vice President of Program Management, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
